Question Types

Bible Quizzing has many different Question Types, each with their own rules, and each with their own quirks and tricks. Follow the navigation above or below to learn about each type.

Interrogative questions are also called General, Regular, or Straightforward questions. If the quizmaster does not specify a question type, by default it is an Interrogative question. The only permitted Interrogative words are: who, what, why, where, when, how, or which.

  1. Finish the Verse – Finish The Verse questions come from the key verse pool. They begin at the beginning of the verse. They must be quoted word perfect.
  2. Finish These Two Verse – These are just like FTV’s but require the quizzer to quote two consecutive verses.
  3. Finish This – These are just like FTV’s, but start at the beginning of a quote within a verse.
  4. Finish This and the Next – These are just like FT’s, but require the quizzer to quote two consecutive verses.
  5. Quote – They must be quoted word perfect. The quizmaster will give the reference, the quizzer must quote the verse.
